if you're writing it down and you're just going through the motions it still might work. because your subconscious mind is probably going to be taking in the words. that you're writing on the paper even if your conscious mind isn't, but if you really want to get maximum results, why not immerse yourself fully into the words. that you're writing feel them picture them as if they're already happening for you to make this more fun to turn this into an activity, that you're going to look forward to in your day rather than an activity that feels like another chore. I encourage you to turn it into a really fun ritual for yourself. so perhaps you might like to light a candle or some incense or get yourself, a lovely cup of tea and drink it while you're writing them.
